5 of Fire – Conflict – A half-man half-bear stands upright paw/arm outstretched in an angry, defensive position ankle deep in toxic water next to barren twisted trees.
Bear in this card does not hold the strength, stamina, wisdom, and peace in the usual totem sense. This is unstable emotions, explosive aggression, and vengeance. Powerful negative emotions have encompassed the man changing him to an uncontrolled raging bear.
You or someone near you has allowed negative emotions, actions, and responses to affect her/his life and relationships. This can cause friendship and job loss, and future opportunities to be turned away. This may indicate a dangerous person with whom you may be involved with; break the tie for your own safety. You are responsible for your own actions and attitude. It is time to meditate, pray, and exercise to release those unwanted characteristics. Find the root source and give the issue to the God/dess. When you give your issue up to the Divine…it means you actually have to let it go, and to not take it back. The release is a burden lifted. Ask the God/dess to fill the void that this pain has left you with peace and love. Honor the temple within, take a rejuvenating bath with candles lighted to cleanse your body and uplift your spirit; and rest to refresh your mind.
